MAIN DUTIES AND SPECIFIC ACTIVITY DIRECTIONS

Identifying, testing, adapting and embedding technologies and inputs into agricultural practices
cloud for nuclear fruit trees, olives, vine and citrus; Preparation of technological packages and typical projects for creation of orchards, olive groves, vineyards and citrus;

Technical assistance and training on the design, setting up and operation of nurseries, orchards, olive groves, vineyards and citrus;

Production and addition of certified plant material for nurseries (fruit trees, olives, vineyards and citrus);

Farm-level research and testing of problems raised by farmers for nuclear fruit trees, olives, vines and citrus; Training for agricultural specialists, farmers and other interested subjects; Provide technical expertise to advisory service structures and farmers; Demonstration of new cultivation technologies for nuclear fruit trees, olives, vine and citrus; Preparation and publication of divulgative materials for agricultural specialists and farmers.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the Center’s duties will include:

Needs and priorities of the region; Agro-testing required by other Centers; Initiate / prepare projects that address specific area issues.
